2019 Napier Waller Art Prize

The 2019 Napier Waller Art Prize was open to current and former service personnel in the Australian Defence Force.

2019 was the second year of the prize. This online exhibition presented a shortlist of 26 works from 113 entries, selected by a panel of art professionals from the Australian War Memorial. All shortlisted artists were eligible for the People’s Choice award, featuring a cash prize of $5,000, which was awarded to Line of sight by Eduardo de Araujo.

This exhibition highlighted 12 of these shortlisted works that were highly commended by the judging panel. Highly commended works were exhibited at the Memorial from 20 September 2019, from which the winner, You are in danger and I am far away by Natalie Duncan was selected.
