All Australian infantry at Nui Dat were accommodated in tents. This tent is a little more colourful than most and was a trading post tent on 1 Ordnance Field Park (1OFP) lines at the 1ATF base at Nui Dat; however it does show the levels of personalising that some went to. Decorating tents with pin ups was common for the period, but was discontinued as a practice many years ago.
