This report lists the injuries of the platoon from the mine incident, including Mick Storen’s back wounds and Frank Hunt’s leg injuries.  The simple language used doesn’t convey the severity of Hunt’s wounds which saw him hospitalised for several years.  Mick advises he did actually feel the shards of metal entering his back, but quickly forgot he had been hit in the heat of the moment and effectively didn’t feel them again until ordered to Dustoff with the rest of the wounded.
