Description

Royal Australian Navy issue No 1 Mk IV NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) protective smock. The grey cotton smock is tightly folded as received, and appears to have been vacuum packaged to minimise mass. An attached buff paper label is printed in black with the words 'FABRIC' and 'DATE' amd stamped 'AUG 1994'. A larger white paper label reads: '94 SMOCK PROT. N.B.C. No 1 MK IV MID GREY. AUSTRALIAN NAVY PART OF N.I.V. SUIT PROT. N.B.C. No 1 MK IV MID GREY. AUSTRALIAN NAVY SIZE: HEIGHT 190/BREAST 108 QTY 1 REMPLOY LTD. 073458 DATE PACKED LEVEL "L" PACKAGE' and is stamped 'SEP 1994'. There is also a Broad Arrow marking.
