"Maadi Camp Dec 1914. A specimen of the Royal Army Medical Corps Ambulance Waggon left in the LHFA lines. Used for transferring patients from the Ambulance to the Citadel Hospital." (Original inscription).
From a collection relating to the service of Captain Piero Fiaschi, Australian Army Medical Corps, (later Lieutenant-Colonel, OBE), serving with the 1st Light Horse Field Ambulance in Egypt and as Regimental Medical Officer with the 3rd Light Horse Regiment at Gallipoli.
