Description
An Australian serviceman with a belt of .303 calibre ammunition at the Royal Australian Air Force airfield, Archerfield, QLD. The RAAF airfield at Archerfield operated from 1939-1956. During this period, the airfield was used as a base for the No 2 Elementary Flight Training School and for the 23 Squadron, RAAF.
