Diary relating to the First World War service of 871 Gunner Herbert Alexander Affleck 3rd Battery, 1st Artillery Brigade. The diary was written between 1 January and 31 December 1915, and describes the training at Mena Camp, Lemnos harbour and provides an extensive description of the landing at Gallipoli on 25 April.
