The Australian War Memorial is looking for candidates interested in being included on our Temporary Employment Register.
Positions are non-ongoing (less than 12 months) and may be full-time, part-time or casual depending on the needs of the business area. Applications are welcome from all of the following disciplines and levels of experience.

Eligibility
- Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS).
- All applicants external to AWM that are offered employment will be required to successfully undergo a National Police Check, even if they currently hold a security clearance. The check is conducted in accordance with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework requirements.

- Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period
- Ongoing engagement and promotion under the Public Service Act 1999 are not possible through this recruitment register. Positions are non-ongoing only and applicants should not expect to gain ongoing employment through this register
