Group portrait of officers of No 4 Squadron, Australian Flying Corps (AFC). Identified in the second row are: 2nd Lieutenant (2Lt) Edward Barlow (second from left), 2Lt Henry Cobby (second from right) and Captain George Jones, commanding officer of 4 Squadron AFC (far right). Cobby was officially credited with the confirmed destruction in combat of twenty nine aircraft, the highest number of any Australian airman of the First World War and therefore Australia's leading 'Ace'.
