Description

Correspondence material relating to the First World War service of Brigadier General Henry Arthur Goddard, 9th Brigade. The messages and other correspondence were kept by Brigadier General Goddard between 1917 and 1919, and relate to his time as commanding officer of the 9th Infantry Brigade in France. The official correspondence covers recoomedations for awards, casualties suffered by the 9th Brigade, operation reports and orders, and the eventual demobilisation of the Brigade in 1919.
