Description
At the beginning of this personal diary, Field Marshal Lord William Birdwood records several names and addresses as well as a list of London Gazette references. The diary entries commence on 1 January 1918. Some of the personalities mentioned in these entries include: Rawlinson, Hobbs, White, Plumer, Coxen, Churchill, King George V and Jellicoe.
