This transciption was made by the family of Grimwade and covers the dates between 1 January 1918 and 1 January 1919 cover. This trancript menations: his leave in January; his return to the front; the sports he plays; the attacks on Dernancourt; unit movements; the death of Manfred von Richthofen (the Red Baron); the officers he communicates with; the battle of Amiens; his activities while on leave and his movement after the armistice was signed.
Also included in the trancpit is a copy of a letter writtem by Grimwade to the father of Lieutenant Parker Roy Allworth. It mentions that Lieutenant Allworth was a hard working and well liked officer.
