    Overview

    Using a combination of hands-on items and the stories of families who served in, and were impacted by conflict, this program will allow students to discover what life was like for Australians during wartime, whether in the past or up to the present day.

    Our history is shaped by stories and stories allow us to re-tell history. Visiting the galleries will link the hands on items to real stories of Australians during wartime. Students will also explore how we continue to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australian servicemen and women from our own family stories through to Anzac Day.
