RAAF Forage Cap
This forage cap was a uniform item worn by members of the Royal Australian Air Force during the Second World War. More than 37,000 members of the RAAF, most trained under the Empire Air Training Scheme (EATS), served in Europe and North Africa during the Second World War. Approximately 10,000 of these served as aircrew with Bomber Command, which was responsible for bombing targets in enemy-controlled Europe.
