The Wannsee Conference
The Wannsee Conference was not the start of the Holocaust. The Final Solution had been resolved and implemented in 1941. By the time the conference took place on 20 January 1942, some half a million Jews had already been murdered in Russia.
In his spine chilling and thought provoking article, Professor Paul Batrop explains the origins of the Wannsee Conference and examines the outcomes that led to a more coordinated system of mass murder that would only cease with Germany’s defeat in 1945.
