Art commissions and projects
In addition to the official war art scheme, the Memorial undertakes a wide range of contemporary art commissions and other projects. These include commissioning works for the Sculpture Garden and elsewhere in the grounds, responses to significant anniversaries and other commemorative events, and to address aspects of Australia’s experience of war that are underrepresented in the collection.
