Description

Khaki peaked cap. Embroidered on the front of the cap is a red kangaroo outlined in black. Beneath this, in black lettering and numerals, is embroidered 'CTF635 / RTN13'. On the back of the hat is embroidered the Australian flag with 'AUSTRALIA' in blue cotton below it. The width of the hat is adjusted by a Velcro tab at the back of the cap. Inside the lining on the left side of the hat has been stitched the 'PLAT A TAC' logo in brown cotton over a green background. On the underside of this label is embroidered in brown cotton 'PLATATAC.COM.AU'. Stitched into the right side lining is a white label with printed black writing '100% COTTON / MADE IN VIETNAM / HAND WASH ONLY'.

History / Summary

Khaki peaked cap of the type worn by members of Rotation 13 to the Solomon Islands as part of Operation Anode. Rotation 13 was deployed from August until December, 2007.
