Description

This series contains the diaries and notebook of Major Geoffrey Gordon McCrae, 7th Battalion. The three diaries cover McCrae’s journey to Egypt in 1914 and his service at Gallipoli the following year. The diaries have been transcribed from originals by McCrae’s father. This series also contains a notebook that McCrae used as a workbook for training notes. This series contains:
