Vol. 4: Diaries of Thomas James Richards, 9 November 1916 - 31 May 1918

This series contains the seventeenth through twenty-third First World War diaries of Lieutenant Thomas James Richards, 1st Australian Infantry Battalion. Sometime after returning home from the war, Richards had these diaries bound into a single volume and they were sent to the Australian War Memorial (AWM) in 1933. The binding was removed so that preservation scanning of the original diaries contained within could take place. Also included in this series is the transcript made by the AWM in 1935.
