Collection relating to the service of 176 Corporal Sutton (Sid) Henry Ferrier, 10 Light Horse Regiment, AIF, Gallipoli, 1915 and Captain Hugo Vivian Hope Throssell, VC, 10 Light Horse Regiment, AIF, Gallipoli, 1915. Collection consists of a typed copy of a letter of condolence written by Throssell to Corporal Ferrier's mother, in March 1916; a typed copy of an extract from a letter written by Throssell in September 1915 to the Commanding Officer of the 10th Regiment, recommending four men for "some special distinction; a typed copy of a Recommendation for Mention regarding Corporal Ferrier and 89 Trooper Francis McMahon, both of 10 Light Horse Regiment.
