DPNU shoulder patch

This White Ensign version of the Australian flag patch is worn by RAN personnel on the left shoulder of a DPNU shirt. From the formation of the RAN in 1911 until 1967 its ships flew the White Ensign of the United Kingdom (the Royal Navy Ensign). In March 1967, Australia adopted this design, based on the Australian National Flag.
