UN Service Medal for Korea
Issued to British and Commonwealth troops for service in Korea, the inscription on this medal’s reverse reads: “for service in defence of the principles of the United Nations”.
After the battle of Kapyong, Captain Reg Saunders said: “At last I felt like an Anzac, and I imagine there were 600 others like me"[1]. What do you think he meant by this statement?
