Collection relating to the First World War service of Lieutenant Cecil Beaumont Mills, 23rd Infantry Battalion.

Collection consists of letters and postcards written by Lt Mills to his wife Effie Sara (nee Burne) as well as letters to Effie from her brother Lieutenant Henry Harman Arthur Burne, regarding her husband's death. Other items in the collection include notes on Mills' son John and his visit to Pozieres in 1995.
