Jacka, Albert (Captain, VC, 14th Bn, AIF b.1893 - d.1932)
Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 465 Captain Albert Jacka, 14th Infantry Battalion. Collection consists of a autograph book presented to Jacka by the Williamstown, Newport and Spotswood Anzac Club as a tribute to his gallantry. As well as over 100 signatures it also contains verses, sketches and clippings. Also included in the collection is an undated notebook containing lecture notes on general training; a lecture prepared by Jacka title 'The Battalion in Attack", and a photograph of Official Prize Winners, Anzac Sports, 1st AGH Sutton Veny, 30 April 1919.
