Informal group of eight soldiers. Identified, lying on the right is 255 Private (Pte) Charles Montgomery Paget, A Company, 24th Battalion, of Baddaginnie, Victoria. Pte Paget enlisted on 18 March 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Euripides on 10 May 1915. He died, aged 32 years, on 16 June 1918 of wounds he received at Querrieu in France.
