The Napier Waller Art Prize was open to current and former service personnel in the Australian Defence Force. For more information on the Napier Waller Art Prize, click here.

2022 is the fourth iteration of the Prize, which encourages artistic excellence and raises awareness of the experiences and talent of service personnel. This year we received 116 entries across diverse artistic media. This online exhibition presents the shortlist of 28 works selected by a panel of art professionals from the Australian War Memorial. All shortlisted artists are eligible for the People’s Choice Award, featuring a cash prize of $5,000.

The 14 works that were highly commended by the judging panel were exhibited at Australian Parliament House from 18 June to 20 November 2022.
